I am sooooooooooooooooo excited to tell you that Carolyn has her Blog up & running!!!! She is pictured in the post about our Art Group (8-31-09 Post) & I told you that she was "working" on her Blog. Well, she has done a WONDERFUL JOB! Welcome to Blogland Carolyn! Remember how it felt to be new & other Bloggers came by to make you feel welcome in this unfamiliar world? Hope you'll go welcome Carolyn! http://thenandnowatcollectedtreasures.blogspot.com/ I remember how I felt when I first started. There were so many of you out there that helped & encouraged me. And still do! There is so much to learn! And, I'm not sure we ever learn it all. I know I talked to so many other bloggers & asked so many questions. Dawn Edmondson http://the-feathered-nest.blogspot.com/ has been a HUGE mentor to many of us just starting out. Thank you Dawn,Blogland is a much softer warmer place because of you! And then Susan http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ helped me with the perplexing dilemma in placing photos where I wanted them. Thank you to all of you who have helped or mentored a new Blogger. Now, there is a wonderful guide/book that has come out written by Tara Frey http://bellapink.typepad.com/ . The name of it is Blogging For Bliss I know many of you have this little wonder. If you don't, & you have "issues" this may become your new best friend. THANK YOU TARA for getting it in Black & White! You can purchase this book in many places or if you want an autographed copy you will find that at Tara's Blog (see the link above).
Wishing you all a wonderful week filled with BLISS!
Lovely post, Charlene! And thanks for the sweetest words! I'd like you to see another creation of mine- it's currently posted on my blog!
ReplyDeleteHugs to Reba and you,
Monicaxx.
Thank you so much for your blog today. I ordered the book last night, and can't wait til it gets here.
ReplyDeleteSee you Thurs.
Carolyn
Dawn helped me get started as well...charming lady.
ReplyDeleteMaking Mosaics-as with anything it gets better with practice. I take pics and work with them in PUBLISHER, arrange them, then click to make them a 'GROUP' then save as a with any picture you post. I like seeing all the different ways ladies do them and try to copy their styles.
Hope these little comments help get you started. Hope those better at it will offer their advice. I'll come back and see what others share.
That's so you, so sweet and such a dear friend!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check it out!!!
Thanks so much for sharing everything!!!
Hugs,
Margaret B
How great you are so helpful with your friends blog! I would not be here if so many lovely ladies hadn't helped me along the way. I just jumped in and was thrown a line and have the best ever blog friends!
