And the other side decorated with old toe shoes hung on the outside of the tent. This space was a MOB of women in a feeding frenzy!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is Robin with a customer showing her wares. Again, PINK, purple green lace everywhere! Nothing under $200. I looked at embroidered pantaloons for $400. Gosh didn't bring those home!
See the mannequin with the PINK lace on the dress! Some of her things were really cute. So would love to have some & have the figure to look like some of her darling little sales girls. If you go on her site... watch the UTube with her car... a Rolls Royce body put on a 4x4 Truck that she drives all over her ranch in Bandera. OK................................ Hey girls, I'm broadening your horizons. Hee Hee
Below is a dress. ??????????????? A little of this & a little of that. And then we had the male version of fashion.
Walking down the isle of one of the tents was this gentleman. Lisa & I named him "Dapper Dan". He was wearing PINK wide wale corduroy pants, a PINK vest, blue & white striped shirt with a navy jacket. All the chains & Bling on his vest. Complete with walking cane.
He had one pant leg tucked in his boot & one not! But, he'd been shopping.
And some more shopping. Later at lunch we saw him with a hat on. Not the type I would of thought for him. A HUGE frumpy old Miner styled hat. What a HOOT he was. You can see it all at an event like this. Now, click on my sidebar & go see Beverly & the other girls playing PINK. See if they have anything that matches this craziness! If you have stopped by PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT & LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK! Have a great weekend.
Hi Chalene,

ReplyDeleteI will follow your advice and hire Arthur as snail catcher ! Unfortunately they are not quick enough when they run !
Oh, lucky you! I saw other bloggers pics of the event. BUT, you chose the best one to photograph (for me, anyway!) I love Magnolia Pearl. Thanks so much. Happy Pink Saturday!

Winter is just around the corner in my neck of the woods so Pink Saturday is even more meaningful for me because I won't see my garden bloom again until at least May of next year!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your participation this week. It brightened my day☺
Wishing you a wonderful weekend filled with happiness surrounded by those you love.

I LOVE MAGNOLIA PEARL!! I know it's crazy and wild and beautiful but I can't help myself...I love it all! Thanks so much for sharing with us Charlene ~ have a wonderful Sunday, xxoo, Dawn
ReplyDeleteLovely pink post!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing..
Oh, I just left a comment/question about the soldering the scallop thingey - oh well...... I originally came here trying to find the clothes pins that you were telling about on the White Benches blog. I couldn't find pictures of yours anywhere, did I just not go back far enough? Would love to see pics of yours if you have them! Clothespins is something I might be able to handle! Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteHugs from Michigan - Diane
Charlene,
ReplyDeleteGreat post, the Pearl's pics are perfect for Pink Saturday. I posted Dapper Dan too! Lisa
Just took a longer look at your blog. I wanna live where you live and I wanna do what you do! Waaaaaa! Up here (a mile from the Canadian border) we don't have all those good things and if you want to see them it's a day's drive and oodles of $ spent in gas. Guess I'll just have to live through your blog!
ReplyDeleteHi Charlene! This was a wonderful post! I love Dapper Dan... and his sense of fashion adventure (the boot tuck totally makes it for me!)! I have Robin's book and have been a fan of her's for a long time. I've even saved every magazine article with pictures of her things too.....I wish I could decorate my home like she does, with lots of wonderful crusty old things offset by lace, velvet and crystal, but you know the hubby would just FREAK!
ReplyDeleteBlessings ~ Eileen @ Star's Fault
Wow, that's some truly amazing designer wear. I thought the toe shoes were indian corn until you did a close up!
ReplyDeleteI love Dapper Dan - now he's secure in his masculinity!
Happy Belated PS!
Leann
Hi, How much fun was that??? I've heard of that Market. Would LOVE to get there someday! Magnolia Pearl? Wow ... some gorgeous treasures there! I think I will run off to view those other spots on your sidebar. Have a Beautiful Week! Rochele
ReplyDeleteCharlene, I have been working to put together a bazaar booth and I made a whole $6.00! I told my hubby that it is just as much work to make $200. as opposed to $6.00 so I have kept busy getting ready for that. I am hoping to find some other craft shows around this fall time. I check in with you each time you post but lately have been way too busy. Thank you for the sweet comment on my post and know that I will get back in the swing of things.
ReplyDeleteSharon
Puleeese...as much as I love Magnolia Pearl's style...to afford her prices is not a reality for me Charlene!!! I just admire from afar :) You know the ballet pointe shoes, she bought them all from a friend of mine that I purchased mine from for 18.00!!! I hope you have a great week sweet friend, xxoo, Dawn
ReplyDeleteI can't wait till I get to attend the famous Round Top. I love M.P. style but yes a bit pricey.
ReplyDeleteAnd what an interesting dude, wonder what his story is?
Monday Blessings and tell Austin Hi from me ;-)
Charlene! I love her stuff, and would have loved to have gone to Marburger....but just couldn't fit it in! I am glad I missed the mob though. And, the prices are way too high for me! Love the pictures and the little 'ole man. What a hoot for sure =)

Hi Charlene, thanks for dropping by my blog! Love the pink, any pink is good pink to me. Except maybe that guy's outfit! Wow. Ah yes, you lucky dogs.
ReplyDeleteLooks as though you had a great time at Round Top. One of these years I hope to be by your side discovering all of these great vendors and drooling over their wares.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Hugs
Diana
The cost of Marburger alone was worth it just to see her tent! And yep, I think it is for sure a Texas look. And if I looked like one of those cute sales girls I would wear it! LOL. I used to LOVE her purses, pity she does not do those anymore, but we saw LOTS of knockoff's of those. But it was a great booth. And how cute is Daper Dan? LOL.
ReplyDeleteI must say he is a real show stealer!!! great post,so many treasures! All the best,Chrissy
ReplyDeleteI have heard and have scene on line Magnolia Pearl but never in person. I bet it was amazing!! thanks for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you were able to experience Magnolia Pearl's loveliness in person. I just adore her things!! I am totally jealous out here on the East Coast, where there is very little of Robin's magic to be found!
ReplyDeleteSue E.
Love this post. How fun! That man was perfect for your pink post. He probably thought he was sharply dressed. Gotta love people watching.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I hope to hear from you again.
BTW, I use a Nikon D40 digital/SLR. I love it! Now I want to get a macro lens for those super tight up close shots.
Have a wonderful day,
Tammy
