Heaven on Earth

MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MAGIC...THE ONLY WORDS TO DESCRIBE!
Can you imagine walking into this knowing that you are blessed to spend two magical ART filled days in this little piece of HEAVEN right here on earth?
This weekend I was blessed to attend the Heart & Communion Art Event hosted by the talented, beautiful, mother/daughter team of Debbie Murray & Shea Fragoso. The event was held in their home/studio which is located in an old church, that has had these two Fairy God Mothers wave their MAGIC wand over her tired soul & breathe a new breath of life into her beautiful soul. There is a sense of ENERGY that surrounds you the moment you climb those beautiful old wood steps. As you round the corner you enter a room where the ceiling soars - seeming to reach for heaven itself. The Golden GLOW that wraps around you soothes & whispers "Leave the outside world behind you my child"
This is the table where we sat to create. Beautiful covered chairs around a table that went on forever. A bag (from our dear Jo Packham of Where Women Create Magazine) stuffed FULL of goodies given to us by many generous vendors was hung on the back of each chair. MANY THANKS TO EACH GENEROUS COMPANY THAT DONATED THINGS TO US!
I have a soldering station at home but, it doesn't look like the one above. Does yours?
Another view of the table that indeed does stretch on forever. Can you imagine how many talented creative souls can gather here? The angel is holding our name tags.
At each station was a tile for us to work on, a burlap bag stuffed full of supplies from our teachers (more on these amazing gals in the next post)a Valentine & CHOCOLATE! You can't create without CHOCOLATE! Look below at the kitchen with a granite counter top filled with breakfast goodies... croissants, muffins, fresh fruit (black berries, strawberries & blueberries) in a gorgeous crystal bowl. Coffee bar & orange juice. And let's not forget the champagne for those of us that wanted a mimosa or two! Yes, I told you they were OVER THE TOP & I'm not exaggerating one word. The name of Debbie & Shea's company is A GILDED LIFE & believe me they do indeed live up to that name.
Yes, that's the kitchen!!!! Where the alter used to be! And look up above to see the arch that looks into the studio where they create. I am not going to show you that area because our fabulous Jo Packham has them on the schedule to appear in Where Women Create Magazine & I won't ruin the surprise. Don't miss a single issue of that magazine & be on the watch for this treasure. This a little appetizer for another post to follow since I want to share the jewelry pieces I made at this event. And I can say ... I WILL NOT MISS A SINGLE EVENT THESE ANGELS HOST! Thank you Debbie & Shea for opening your doors & your hearts to share this glimpse into Heaven here on earth. I feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to call you my friends.

  5. Oh Charlene, talk about magic!!!! THis is too good to be true and what a duo. You are lucky to have been there. Thank you dear lady for visiting my Valentine post and yes, you may use the image with the crown! However, I don't know if the blingee (the sparkles) will transfer. It is a free service if it doesn't work for you. The image, sure, go ahead! It is a Waterhouse oil painting.

Have a wonderful St. Valentine's day!!! Bisous, Anita
