Beverly & I want to welcome you to another
PINK Saturday! While you are reading this I have gone to my
Heart of Communion Art Event. This is being held in an old church that has been turned into a home/art studio. Be sure & click
HERE to see this wonderful blog. Also, please come back in a few days to see photos & a post of the event. But, in the meantime I wanted to share the
PINK vignette on top of my
refrigerator. I have the wonderful vintage oil lamp I shared with you in the past
PINK post, a pot of
PINK flowers, my canister of hot cocoa mix, a Valentine plate, a
PINK flowered creamer, a crystal paper weight & some scrabble tiles spelling the word
LOVE. Speaking of LOVE... I want to wish a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my precious husband. This is one of those "big" Birthdays & I think it is bothering him just a bit.
Happy Birthday Honey you are the light of my life!
This is the sweet crystal paper weight I was telling you about. It is in the shape of a little tea pot. Suspended in the crystal is a beautiful
PINK rose. My dear friend Susan gave this to me a couple of years ago. I LOVE it!
And this adorable little creamer belonged to my mother's mother. It was given to me by my sweet Aunt Sharon & Uncle Mel. When his mother died Uncle Mel had gotten this pitcher from her things & when we were up to visit them one summer (in their beautiful log cabin in Cripple Creek, Colorado) they gave it to me.
THANK YOU for sharing this family treasure.
Enjoy this marvelous PINK Saturday & be sure to click the button on my sidebar to go visit some other the other girls playing today. HUGS!
Happy Pink Saturday Charlene...
ReplyDeleteSweetie this is a beautiful post. Happy Birthday DH. (It doesn't matter that we are a year older, just that we are still here to share with our loved ones.)
Charlene that teapot paperweight with the rose inside, oh my gosh that is just the sweetest darn thing I have seen in a long time. Even the little knob on top. So detailed for a paperweight. I love it.
I love the one that belonged to your family member also. Was it the grandmother or mother? You can see the age of it. So beautiful. They just do not make anything like that today. It is exquisite.
Thank you for sharing. Please stop by and let me share my pink post with you. I love to share and love the company. Country hugs sweetie...Sherry
