A Dog’s Life

Hello, my name is Elle & I came to live with Momma & Daddy (Daddy is the one who NEEDED me) just before Christmas. I have MANY adoring fans who keep asking Momma about me & since she has been too busy to show you how I’ve grown… I decided to take over the computer & tell you about my “Dog’s Life” myself. While on the phone with Auntie Riki last week, Momma asked her if my friend Maddie had “outfits”. And Auntie Riki said NO! I can’t imagine! Auntie Sandy say’s it’s all about “The Outfit”!

SONY DSC As you well know, yesterday was the Super Bowl played very near my house! Momma called it The Stupid Bowl but, Daddy got me my very own Greenbay Packer Jersey. I didn’t really watch the game but, I did lay around in my jersey playing with my favorite toy FROGGY.DSC03528

Last week as many of you know, we had TERRIBLE WEATHER!!!!! We had sleet, snow & ice. And it lasted for DAYS! One day Daddy even had to go to Oklahoma City to work. Momma & I stayed in watching the TV talk about the weather & the rolling brown outs where they cut power to save energy. I had to wear my favorite PINK PJ’s to stay warm.

But, there was time to time that I had to go outside to take care of business & for that I had to wear my coat over my Jammies!002

Auntie Diana said my coat was very stylish & that she really loved the fur collar. I know it’s a bit hard to tell where the fur collar ends & I begin but, I’m styling for sure!003

When I went outside the snow was pretty deep! Hey don’t laugh… when you have short legs 2 inches is a LOT!Snow Baby collage

But, after awhile it got to be a lot of fun. I learned to use my nose as a snow plow.Snowplow collage

I guess I better give the computer back to Momma so she can get to work on the invoices for Daddy’s company… and I have some very important things to take care of.SONY DSC

After all…. Froggy & I need our beauty sleep. I just wanted to say hello to all my adoring fans (Auntie LuLu I LOVE the emails you send & always end with “Kisses to little Elle”. And Auntie Riki…. go shopping! Maddie needs OUTFITS!

    What a sweet, sweet post, Charlene!! How precious can a puppy be?! She sure likes the snow...that first experience is always fun. And be careful with the clothes, it becomes addicting and soon she will have a wardrobe larger than yours! ;-D

    That is the cutest blog ever. I think mommie and daddy both have a case of love with you. Mommie is just kidding herself about you. I love all your little sweet outfits, you look adorable.     So only Daddy needed her, yeah right! That is the cutest dog ever. How can you help but to fall in love. I think we got our dogs about the same time.Juju have along play in the snow too and I took some pictures that I will post later. Mine is not as stylish but he loved to be dress, he just stand or lay down so mama can dress him. There is not as many cute things for boys. What a life you two have, enjoy it!. Blessings, Marta.

    Oh Elle, you are growing up so fast. What do you weigh now, 4 lbs? I am a little over 9 lbs already, and mom thinks I'm getting kind of heavy. She limits my cookies, bummer. But we get lots of walks and have lunch every week with Auntie Diana, I love her lots too. Mommy hasn't bought me many clothes, I was a princess for Halloween, but I kind of ripped that one up, didn't like wearing human stuff too much. Mom just read me your post and I think she might take me shopping, yuk, unless we go to that store that has doggie pee all over the floor and hands out cookies, I love that one. If she makes me wear a dress, I'll send you a picture. I wish you lived closer, I want to play all the time. I have another Havanese here I play with, his name is Wilson, but he always body slams me and knocks me over. Talk to you later Elle. Love and licks, your cousin Maddie.

    Charlene, I think she is the cutest dog I have ever seen! She is just huggable and all of her stylin' clothes! Too adorable for words. I had to laugh at "The Stupid Bowl!" Even though I am originally from Wisconsin, I didn't care much, but what a cute jersey.

    So glad to hear back from you that you made the bread pudding. I love your idea of ice cream instead of the sauce. Either way it would be delish! Have a great week.

    Oh..she is getting bigger. That is so funny about the jersey because we got one ofr our Chase too...he wore it in the pool of course..he..he ! Then it shrunk and I had to cut it off of him!

    Dear Elle...Come over to my house and play with me. My Momma (Rebecca) won't mind one tiny bit. She loves furbabies and I could use a new friend. Winter has been brutal here in Oklahoma and it's making my Momma freak out. Maybe if I had a good friend to play with I wouldn't be gettin' into so much trouble.

    Okay, you just made my day!!! That was so wonderful!!! I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time!!! Those pics you took of sweet Elle are adorable! Especially the one with snow on her face.     I now have a new goal in life...to live the life of Elle!! LOL
    Could anything be more wonderful? Great outfits, a soft bed, little friends, lots of naps, what a life!
    I think we should have MP custom design an outfit for EP so when CP & SP get together wearin their MP, we can carry EP sportin her designer MP & all of TEXAS will say AWE inwonder at our AWESOMENESS!!! LOL I'm so silly!

    What unbelievable cuteness - especially with a bit of snow on her face. Her expression is just priceless. I know it's difficult to feel close to another pup so soon, but with a face like that, it's awful hard to resist.
