More Friends At Round Top

See I promised I'd show you the girls!!!!! I can't believe I didn't put this in the last post but, I did get to see my buddies Lisa of Tarnished & Tattered (Boy I miss our Art Group girlfriend!!!! Now that it's Fall let's get it together again), Jodie of Everything Vintage, Karla of Karla's Cottage & Beth of Gathering Dust at Theresa's Blog Party. What's so amazing is I knew NONE of these amazing friends before blogging. I met Lisa at a venue here in the Metroplex & we were instant friends. I met Jodie the first time in Savannah at Petticoats & Parasols, Karla & Beth (whom I had blogged with but, didn't know in person)at Les Sirenes in California. WOW has my life changed since I have started connecting with folks that "GET ME" or like to do the same sort of stuff.
And here is my Susie (left) of Vintage Susie & Wings who drove all the way from California to join Diane Cook (right) & I for these fun filled days. They are standing in front of the table full of Diane's amazing creations. She set up in Tent W at Marburger Farms Show. This was her first year to be in this venue & she worked soooooooooooooooooo very hard.
And my friend JoAnn was joined us for this photo (sorry about the Penske truck!!!) under the beautiful shade tree at Diane's space. That's me hiding behind Diane (back left), Diane, Susie & JoAnn. JoAnn & I have been friends for at least 14 years or so & met while we were both in an Antique Mall in Arlington, TX. I was so glad she came down to join us too. Now let's go see some of Diane's goodies!
Standing in front of her manni. To get a closer look at her beautiful creations be sure & click on any photo & it will enlarge.
This beauty with the vintage thimble is going to be one of her up coming classes that I am going to take.

Susie designed the beautiful card that you see in this jewelry box. It is a vintage family photo of two sisters holding hands. Susie took the image & added color as well as other magic to make these amazing cards. She & Diane both do wonderful work. Check them out by clicking on their links above!!!!
LOVE the cuffs!!!!!!!!!!!! Diane made me the sweetest necklace & gave it to me the first night. It says "Secret Sister" & almost made me cry. I'll do a good close up of it & show you soon. THANK YOU AGAIN sweet sister! And on a sad note; Diane got news Wednesday night after we left that her father had taken a turn for the worst & she left the show to go be with him in the near by town of Brenham. He passed the next day. Go by to visit her & give her a big blog sister hug. Diane is truly a precious soul & you will love her!
And who are these two Hombre's? None other than my Hubby & his co-heart in crime (Diane's Hubby). As you know mine has just had open heart surgery (6 weeks ago can you believe that?) & he was SICK of sitting around home. And the weather turned COOL & beautiful which is not always the case this time of year so we packed it up & headed south. These two guys had so much fun together (they always do!) So Monday Hubby shopped with Susie & I while Diane & sweet cheeks set up her booth. But, Tuesday... you can see what they did most of all! TALK!
In the shade of the tree these two told TALL TEXAS TALES!!!!!!!!!! And we SHOPPED TILL WE DROPPED!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you have enjoyed meeting all my buddies & seeing a bit more of Fall Round Top 2010. I know that there are a number of you wanting to come out for the Spring Show. Already Joy, Karen, & Sandy (all 3 from California) are planning on being here for Spring & I'm working on Karen Valentine. Come join us!!!

Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog today, I felt so good when you said 'been there done that'.
And I can't wait to get Roberto out to Texas so we can roll around in a field, look up at some clouds & sit next to a tank or two. If we're lucky we won't stub our toes on a staub!!! ;)
