Another Give Away & Flowers that say Happy Spring!

Have you met Monica of the White Bench http://the-white-bench.blogspot.com/ yet? She is such an adorable sweet soul. She is so generous! Just had a give away for 3 Easter Baskets & then has just posted of her giveaway (photo below of the treasures) for her 50th Post. Be sure & hop over to enter. Tell her Charlene sent you. Yesterday the weather was beautiful. It was windy (same today) but, the sun was shinning bright & the sky was such a beautiful blue that I wanted to share this little bit of Spring since so many of you are still in the grips of Winter.
Susan & I took her sister Evelyn (visiting from Houston) shopping in Snider Plaza & we all loved the fountain & the flowers surrounding it.
Who could resist those sweet pansy faces?
And a daffodil is the best at saying "Happy Spring"! Hope you enjoyed my shot of color for all of you facing winter drab.

Oh... flowers. We still have cold white everywhere. I just hung a lovely dried flower wreath on my front door, hoping to invoke Spring.

Thanks for the flower pictures! I have petal envy.

Hi Charlene! Thanks for stopping by my Photography Blog. I have been a professional photographer for nearly 20 years. A few years ago I took the leap to digital and I tell you, I have just now gotten fully comfortable with. I have had years of study with photography and continuing ed. Even a basic class is a good class to take. I can take a good photo with any camera, as long as I know how and the parameters of that camera. Even a point and shoot film camera from the $$ store.

DSLR's are getting really fancy these days. I have pro cameras. They are really heavy duty, rugged made and well do a lot. And as soon as you upgrade, well the company introduces an new generation...

If you like Nikon, they have a D40 that is nice. And I think a D60. I prefer new equipment with warranty. Cannon has some very good cameras as well. And I think they have a great bridge camera, but I have no idea what it is called.

Bridge cameras are good too. A glass is a very good idea. But always keep a little point and shoot that will fit in your purse. :-D

Shop around and do some online research. Good luck!

Flowers... oh, I'd need them! But it is so damp here I don't want to stay outside to pot some!! I'm longing for sunshine to arrive...

Morning Miss Charlene! Spring has sprung in Texas hasn't it? We are having the same wonderful weather here in Rockwall. Sorry about the confusion on the blog about the FITs. I have Free Image Tuesday every week where I post an antique photo you can use in your art. This week I was late so I had Free Image Wednesday (FIW) LOL!! Have a wonderful weekend sweetie!
