I want to thank Susan for hosting Metamorphosis Monday. Just click the butterfly in my sidebar to take you there. I was thinking what should we post about today? And then I looked up on my china hutch & knew the answer in a glance. How can something so beautiful become sooooooooooooooooooooo Ugly?
This is my vintage Tipping Tea Pot & it has been pulled in the kitchen for a Metamorphosis. It is in serious need!

You'd better watch it. You just might inspire me to polish my silver service. Well, maybe not.
Tea from a beautiful pot, lovely flowered spoons; a woman after my own tea sipping heart. I am so glad to meet you.
That is a gorgeous teapot and everything cleaned up beautifully! You know what, I am seeing a lot of tarnished silver out there and it is paired with white dishes and called a country French look. I will have to get used to that look....is it really okay to display tarnished silver? Hmmmmm...might be. Linda
Pretty all polished up, the spoons are yummy find!

Oh they are all just gorgeous and have such beautiful detail work to them. I love all the vintage silver pieces, they just seem to have so many beautiful details that you don't find today. Thanks for stopping by my BR redo and your gracious comments, I really appreciate it. Hugs, Marty
Wow what a difference.
Hubby is heading to Dallas for several days of business. We are hoping for some rain soon.
Still working on cleaning and organizing stuff around here. Hope to post some morph pics next week.
Enjoy, Candy
Charlene,
I love your siver tea set and spoons. Yes, you should do a tablescape on Thursday, I will bring the scones!
What sort of polish do you use? My silver just will not come out as well as yours.
Left a PS comment also.

That tipping tea pot is wonderful! Don't you love cleaning silver, Charlene? I mean... it can be gruling work, but I LOVE watching the transformation from ugly and smelly to shiny!!
Thanks so much for stopping by our blog and commenting on my old condo's kitchen remodel. So you and your husband are thinking about remodeling your kitchen & bathroom? It can be a stressful process, but it can also be fun. I've also found that improving the home you have - making it work for your family's needs - can often be a better choice then selling for something else... chances are teh new house won't be perfect either. :-)
Good luck with your plans!

Will you come clean mine? You have inspired me. Got to get out the polish!
I am absolutely GREEN with envy over your silver!! They are some of the most gorgeous piecs I've ever seen! I have a few pieces myself that I keep polished just because I like the look of the "real" stuff! :-) Thanks for stoppin' by the cabin too! :-) L~
I've never thought of polishing silver as a metamorphosis -- but it is!!! Love the teapot and your spoons (I collect them too) --
Beautiful tipping tea pot. All of your silver pieces are lovely.
Beautiful job! You put a lot of love (and probably sweat!) into that and it paid off. Thanks for the inspiration and for stopping by my site today too! Have a wonderful week!
I LOOOOOOVE your silver pieces! You have some unique pieces. Thanks so much for sharing!
Thanks also for visiting me. Don't be afraid to paint...like everyone says, you can easily paint over if you don't like it. I have always loved color, so I'm usually not afraid and have always loved red.
Love your blog*! We must be neighbors because I see you shop Snider Plaza too*! Have a great day*!
All these pieces are just lovely! Happy tea time! I'm sure it "tastes" better out of a silver tipping tea pot!
They look lovely, Charlene! Though I have to admit that I'm pretty fond of tarnished silver, too, because of the carnival color reflections it gives off and also because I'm too lazy to polish stuff myself (but DH loves doing it!).
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great week!

Ooooh, what beautiful silver pieces. In years gone by, crafters took so much pride in their workmanship - it truly was a work of art.
