Susan is hosting yet another Outdoor Wednesday
(click on the link on my sidebar to join the others) & for my post I want to take all of us that live in land & whisk you away to the Pacific Ocean. Talk about OUTDOOR WONDERS! As so many of you know I just came back from the central coast of California & I fell in love with the area & the people. So come join me & enjoy this beauty.
The colors all POP! Seems like a huge color wheel.
The Bluest Blues!
Can you hear the waves crash against the rocks?
These were all taken as we drove up Hwy.1 between Cambria & Carmel. With our convertible top down we had wind in our hair & smiles on our faces.
Long way down!
Look at the contrast of colors in that water.
Breathtaking!
This is the beach in Carmel. As I stood out here & marveled at this beauty, the spray blew in my face & I loved every minute of it! I brought a zip lock bag for sand & much to my surprise... the sand was not like any sand I had ever seen. It was actually just thousands of tiny rocks.
Close your eyes for just a minute & see if you can feel the spray on your face?
Looking toward Carmel.
And after a quick return trip back to Cambria (using Hwy 101 not Hwy.1) we got back just in time to see the sky turn all kinds of beautiful colors as we pull into where we were going to eat two doors down from our hotel.

Breath-taking moments on the coast. I was once in Carmel, maybe 20 years ago. What an awesome time you had at the workshop. I am glad you were able to attend. Drill, Baby, Drill.
Makes me happy that you and Pat have become friends.

Hi Charlene,
Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Thanks for the "egg" suggestion also, but I have to find the eggs first :) Easter is not celebrated here with bunnies, colored eggs, and baskets :( Next year!!
Beautiful pictures of the Pacific coast. My most favorite place in the world. Looks a lot like it does here only it's much warmer here and the sunsets are much bigger. Come for a visit any time!!
