Lives! Get One!

I have this little Mary Engelbriet (Oh how I miss her magazine!) figure on my bookshelf. It makes me smile. That saying... how true is that & that face PRECIOUS!

My blog had nothing new on it & I missed all of you. I got so tied up in life that I really could not blog like I usually do. I had my 100th Post drawing & Barb won. I wanted to do a couple of extra things with that, Memorial Day, & then everyday life... got in the way.

My neighbor & I had been talking about a garage sale for a couple of months. Between my work, her schedule (grand kids weddings, graduations etc.) & the rain we have had it had been postponed over & over. She finally declared it garage sale week this past weekend. I WAS NOT READY! But, I threw it together & then she sprung it on me that not only was is Friday & Saturday... we would start Thursday. Long story short. 3 LONG HOT DAYS & only $100 later I am done & KNOW... I WON'T DO THAT AGAIN! The good thing is that I got to visit with a lot of neighbors I never see & the car fits in the garage so much better! You can even get out on BOTH sides of the car.

Now, Barb's treasure is packed up & mailed, my garage is clean, my birthday is over (Monday) & I am back to normal for one day before I have to work for four days. Check back with me tomorrow to see some BDay photos of some great goodies. I am so tired but I have to smile.

LIFE! GET ONE!

I did & I am so glad it includes YOU!

Oh I just love ME! I too miss her mag. there was an email a month back promising good news but I haven't heard anything yet!
It's nice when people take a break from blogging I feel I have to, but I think it recharges us when we do. We miss those who are gone AND are so glad when they are back! Welcome back! AND a clean garage is a major accomplishment!!
Hugs,Lisa

The very same thing happened to me. We worked for three days preparing for the sale then had the sale fri & sat. We made a whopping $18.00 but sold a couple hundred for the neighbors.. what is that all about? Way to much work and I have once again learned my lesson...no more garage sales!

Ha ha! You are so precious! I think everyone has been tired and busy lately! I wish I had hot weather to contend with!!! I am trying hard to get my giveaways done, and I feel like I am in slow motion!!!
Have a good rest and relax knowing the garage is clean!!!
