Spring is in the air & another Give Away

Another give away you won't want to miss if you love lace! Theresa is having her 100th Post Give Away. Be sure & hop over to http://cottagegardens-theresa-smith.blogspot.com/ to get a chance to enter in this fun event. You never know... Luck may be on your side.
Spring is in the air! Or so it feels today. After a really hard week of work I am off today & am enjoying my time at home. On my way out to the mailbox today I noted the beautiful blue Texas sky! And my Elm Tree is starting to bud out. The air is cool but the sun so warm! How good it is! Can you see the buds?

And a pot full of pansies & violas wink at the sunshine. Like smiling little faces turned up to the warmth.

A close up view just for you.
And the violets are smiling too.
For those of you who still have snow & cold weather enjoy this little glimpse of spring that I send to you. Life is so short in the big picture... ENJOY the little things that make you smile. Hugs.

Charlene,

Until I started blogging & meeting new friends from all over I really never realized how spring comes so early for all you Southerner's. It is really magical to see your pictures! I can't imagine waking up tomorrow & seeing a pot of beautiful pansies...

I truly love where I live & wouldn't trade it for the world, but it is nice to slip in someone else's shoes once in awhile. Thanks for sharing with all of us frozen Northerner's!!

Have a great weekend Charlene!

xoxo

Thanks for visiting my blog, Charlene. My photos are taken on Vancouver Island, Canada.

Thanks for your offer of photos from Versailles. I'm fortunate that this will be my third visit to the palace. It's such a beautiful place.

Hope you have a great week.
